Not all student loan lenders are the same
Just like any major purchase, you should do your own research as to who offers you the best product for the best price.
Lenders differ in the service provided, the borrower benefits, the cost of originating the loan (fee paid by you to the lender to cover the costs of creating and processing your loan), and other factors.
There are two programs that institutions can choose to participate in.
One offers a choice of private lenders that you can borrow your loans from and the other is the Federal Direct Loan Program.
In the Federal Direct Loan Program you are borrowing your student loans directly from the U.S. Government.
If your school is listed above, you should not apply for student loans through this site.
Please speak with the Financial Aid Officer at your college for more information about applying for student loans.
